The permit, (necessary for alcohol and potential group size) is in place for Bethpage State Park picnic grounds. However, this does not guarantee a reserved spot. There is one new portico for potentially inclement weather; so arriving early may be a good idea. If anyone who is not attending the NYC event the night before would like to volunteer, please feel free. The park opens at 8am. A parking charge of $6 per vehicle is now in place. Apparently New York State needs the money! We will provide charcoal for the BBQ's. All other provisions are on you'll. I contacted WBAB and requested they broadcast live from the park, but sadly have not heard back. Any other ideas, wishes, requests, etc., please feel free. Hope to see a large crowd!
